   It’s OK. By removing the magnets in the tube, you can learn about the role of magnetic poles and how they influence the metal sliding down it. The best way to familiarize yourself with this product is to read the reviews on Amazon, where people discuss it. For the price, it’s very good for demonstrating physics of magnetic fields. As a gadget, it’s too lightweight and the fall of it is too fast. May with 6 magnets instead of 4 it would be better, but again, for the price it’s not bad.
